About Baco Teezy

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Philip Velasquez (a.k.a Baco Teezy) was raised off of Hip Hop by his father. Ever since childhood, he listened to plenty of Bone Thugs n' Harmony and Snoop Dogg. From there, as he grew into his own, his tastes evolved with time and started gaining more modern inspirations such as Mac Miller and Anderson Paak.

As a founding member of the Hip-Hop collective "Tampten Park," Baco Teezy had a modest start to his music career. Starting out of the dorm room during his first year of college, he was writing and recording music by himself on Adobe Audition. That is, until the fateful day when his cousin and now rap partner JustIz messaged him, and they recorded three songs together that night.

Ever since then, they have been going nonstop on music releasing over 100 songs between the both of them. Eventually, Baco Teezy recorded his first project. Through the creation of now five full-length projects, Baco Teezy has had plenty of time and room for improvement with his craft. Whereas now, all of the music he is releasing is radio quality and ready for an audience.

With his most current project "TRY AND STICK AROUND?", Baco Teezy came out with his most ambitious, creative, and well-rounded project to date. And he is showing no signs of slowing down now.
